Subject: Support for logging Power data
I searched and found some old threads about adding the ability to log power data (presumably coming off a Garmin unit) in BT.  Is there any update on that?  Just bought a PowerTap for use with my 705 and 310xt and I'd really love to be able to log that data here too!

Thanks.

Basic power logging will go live with the Full Custom Training Plan Creator. We don't have a launch date for it, but it will definitely be before the end of the year.

Thanks for the update.

Do you have any specifics on how basic is basic?  My thought (though I'm no expert yet) is logging/graphing ect much like HR for the zones, times etc.  That would certainly be useful.  My other thought was maybe tracking TSS like mileage for graphing, weekly totals etc.  That and having a place to plug in normalized power, IF or other metrics (I don't think all of these can be downloaded straight from the CPU but require analysis by an outside program first).

Thanks again.

ETA: sorry if I'm being pushy, I'm just trying to figure out how I'm gonna log all this stuff/if I'll need other software.  Thanks!

I remember a post a while back asking us what we would like to see as far as power recording go....I think most said to keep it somewhat simple since most will still use other software (wko+, golden cheetah, etc) to conduct full anaylsis...
