Subject: Calories?
I am getting this at bottom of my training entries, but cannot remember setting up 3K calories anywhere, so can someone tell me where I can change this? I want to try and track my BMR accurately which is 1973.
Calories out: 2882 From Lifestyle: 2739 From Activities: 143
Thanks,
CTG

It's the "Calories Expenditure" section here:  Settings -> Training Log Settings -> Log Defaults

Wow, so it assumes a 69 inch/200 lb male who does some activity at work during the day needs 3000 cal a day, is that what I am supposed to get out of this? If so, that seems really high. My BMR based on 3 different calculators is 1973-1985, so I am trying to figure out where this number falls in.
Thanks for the answers.

From Lifestyle: 2739

This is not your BMR or RMR...but more your BMR+Lifestyle.

From THIS calculator (assuming you are 30 years old), I get:

BMR 2,025   RMR 1,905

Add in your extra lifestyle calories (some activity at work) and you get: 2,784  BMR, 2,619 RMR from the above link.

BT calculates 2739 for you...so about an extra 700-800 calories per day at work instead of 'in bed'.  For BT,  'activities' are triathlon, strength and sports...our workouts.

Make sense?
