Great deal on a fantastic race ready triathlon bike plus Hed Jet carbon fiber 60mm front/90mm rear race wheels. I'm looking to sell this bike due to starting a business and family and don't have the time to devote to triathlon training. This bike has been used for 2008 Ironman Louisville and 4 other half ironman distance races. I have meticulously maintained this bike and have only used the wheels for racing. Included in the price are Easton Vista training wheels, Polar wireless bike computer, and X-Lab Carbon Wing hydration systems with 2 bottle cages. The P2SL Pro is the upgraded version of Cervelo's P2SL which includes Dura Ace components, carbon seat post and cranks, and a Wolf CL fork. I will also throw in a size L Giro Advantage 2 aero race helmet that has only been used 3 times. I'm 5'11" and the bike fits me perfectly. Total purchase price of all that's included was around $5500. Here are the bike specifics:

I think the problem is that people see P2SL and think "can be bought new for $1299 right now...". Add a few hundred $ for the dura ace version and you have a bike that is worth around 1500 (2000 tops) new. Not sure what the wheels are worth but you might actually have better luck selling the wheels separately. Or split it out: X for the bike, Y for the wheels. When you are in the 2500 range, you can buy a new P2C. Just sayin'...lots of people already have the additional pieces so lumping it all together might push the price up too much (not saying it is a bad deal- just suggesting alternatives if you don't get any bites). How did you end out payingg $5500 for all that? I can't get the math to add up.

I agree with the quote below. I'm currently looking for an upgrade but I could get this bike new and buy the wheels new for just about the same price (maybe lower). How serious are you about selling the set up? I like the bike but the price is definitely prohibitive.
