Comments:

Before the negative about my trip...a new PB! Now for to be a little more critical of myself.

Another race with a ton of weaving through the crowd for the first 1/2 mile or so. Cost me 40 seconds just to get to the start line after the gun went because so many slower runners (not that I am all world, far from it believe me)clogged the front of the pack.

They were giving out split times but I think the second mile marker was in the wrong place, no way my second mile was 6 45. Even moe so, no way my last mile was 10:00... If there were the case I am very disappointed in my last mile and blown away by my second.
What would you do differently?:

I will really learn the course layout, I could have started the kick a little earlier.
Post race
Warm down:

Stretching out and cool of with my friends.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Needed to use bathroom for the last part of the race.

Congrats on the personal best. Some of those "pack" starts can be frustrating with slower runners.

Good job...I always have trouble at the beginning of races, too. Don't want to be too presumptuous and move to the front, but sometimes it is a chore finding your pace, if you go to the middle. One of the benefits of chip racing, however, is your time doesn't start until you cross the mat.

Great cause too, congratulations
