Subject: Mechanical Engineers....
Is anyone in the Dallas area a mechanical enginner looking for a change (or know someone that is).

My company has a need for a mechanical engineer. BA degree, 8+ years experience, Industrial and/or Manufacturing expereince, 2-D CAD, and PM experience.

Pay is $75k - $85k.

Growing and stable company, zero debt, strong earnings, never had a layoff......

Oh....and the CEO, SVP of Sales, VP of Sales, and the HR Manager (me) are all endurance athletes and that's a big plus.

2D CAD? You're missing a D..

If you have a link to a job description I can post it to a few engineering and CAD forums to which I belong.

Your pay scale seems a little low.  I don't live in the area, but I wouldn't be interested in that pay range.

There are a ton of perks (both monetary and non-monetary) that make this job worth more than that. Just in the monetary rewards, not tied to comp. it would put the salary in around $95k. Add in the fact that it's about as secure as it can be, sports tickets, free medical clinic, free lunch at least 3 times a month, free gym, a flat tierd organization and the biggest employer in the county...it's a pretty sweet gig.

It's in a smaller town (actually 130,000) and voted 5th best place to live in the USA and a low cost of living too. We don't pay the best, but for a lot of our manufacturing jobs, we turn people away because we have more applicants than jobs.
