It was announced about an hour ago that the Interbike Bicycle Trade show will be open to retail consumers for 2013.

I remember the first Interbike I went to. It was in Long Beach. I was dumbstruck. It was, and remains, incredible. I absolutely love trade shows. I've never stopped being a consumer, so they are nirvana for me. Same in the other industry I work in- I love those trade shows too.

I've been a couple of times... sweet talked the LBS. Hah!

If Interbike is open to the public, I would bet that less freebies would be given away or the retail value of the freebies would be lower.
