Subject: Goodbye Old Friend

My 2002 Gary Fisher Capitola, a.k.a.  "Old Yeller", was stolen last night from out back here (cut through the lock). 

It was the bike I used to train for and race my first triathlon.

 

Here it is all decked out with aerobars and slicks:

I only hope the person who took it (other than them having to be very tall to ride it...) gets some enjoyment out of it, and it just wasn't some punk being a jacka$$.  Not holding my breath on that one. 

Oh, well...I was looking at getting a mountain bike anyway. Laughing

Sorry to hear about this Mike. I echo what others have said, keep an eye on craigslist but most likely it was either pawned or made for a nice bike for someone to ride around town. I actually just moved out of the city this weekend and was glad to live 1 year down there with no issues. Hope you find it. Did you file a police report?
