Subject: 8.6.16 Super Saturday!
Hello BT! How's it going!? Yesterday was an off day for me. Today I ride and run--yay for bricks, not! Ha! Planning on a 2 hour mountain bike ride and :30 minute trail run. Anybody racing today or tomorrow? Have a great day BT!

I'm a big fan of bricks, but that sounds tough, Kim!I rode for about an hour and a half this morning. Coming off vacation and a date night led to sleeping in. Fortunately, my son woke me up at 7. First world problems. Stay safe out there!

I played in the club championship for golf this morning. It was good hour long ride this afternoon. I caught a bug this week and missed three days of workouts. I am trying to make them up over the next few days.

The second round of golf tomorrow morning and then a run and swim.

I rode around midtown Atlanta.  Had an intereresting exchange with a lady sitting on her porch.  I was riding on a street with a bike lane so it gets a fairly large number of cyclists on the weekend.  As I was slowly grinding up a long hill, a lady wolf whistled and hollered "Nice legs!"  Since the statement was patently false, I hollered back, "I suspect you must be a feminist."  She laughed and hollered after me, "A horny feminist."  Good for the ego.

Cotswold super sprint - UK. Lots of bodies colliding, I swam half over someone, got kicked by some bloody breaststroker, and as a mob we poured towards the first buoy.

Already a cyclist and not a bad swimmer, I figured all I had to do was build up to running a few miles and I’d be ready to go. The challenge invigorated me, and I ran out to buy new running shoes.
