Subject: Swimming with stitches?
I just got a 1 inch cut right under my eyebrow Monday and got 6 stitches I was wondering if I would be able to go to pool Saturday I really wouldn’t be swimming just jumping off the diving board mostly

Consult with your doctor, but in general, my clients' physicians have told them not to swim until any open cuts, abrasions, or new tattoos are healed to the point of being sealed.

Can you yes.

Keep the wound covered with a fresh bandage just before entering the water and immediately after exiting the session. If badage if losseing after exposure to the water thats it your done.

Should you?

No give your body time to heal. and stay non aquatic for the moment.
