Run
Comments: Overdressed for run and was too hot pretty early in the race. There were some rolling hills on the course. Tried to keep an even, steady pace the entire race. Felt a little winded on a hill or two, but overall was happy. Could have been more comfortable with less layers (wore 1 short sleeved shirt and then 2 long sleeved shirts). What would you do differently?: Not as many shirts. Post race
Warm down: Grabbed a banana and some water and then hung out in the car listening for our names for door prizes. What limited your ability to perform faster: Once again, too many clothes. I could probably stand to have more hill training too. Event comments: For a local 5K, it was good. Course was interesting and was completely on grass. The packet pick up was a little unorganized, but they did chip timing and gave out nice long sleeved shirts. Last updated: 2006-11-18 12:00 AM

Up at 6:30 for oatmeal and coffee.
Picked up my friend, Doug at 7:50 and was at the race site by 8.
Checked in and then stayed warm in the car until 8:50.
None really....stood in short port-o-potty line and then it was time to run!
