It's Sunday (really!) and so I did a run - a recovery run sort-of. 6.5 miles (meant to go 8 but it was very cold & I was feeling a bit weak so I cut it short.) I have an 18 miler scheduled for Wednesday so I will take off Tuesday and do a weight workout in Monday (unless I feel very ambitious...!)
I ran as well - aerobic endurance run of an hour and about 8.5km at low intensity. Finally getting used to the low intensity running and I know it's doing me good now.
Having my first rest week next week as I know I need it, but am still keen to get out and do something. Have planned some light short technique swims and one short bike and run with a rest day between each.
40min long run....about 4miles...i have maintained this for a month and all is good. Rest week next week then the climb continues! Gotta go to bed early as will start up the gym routine to bring in swim and weights since vacation. It's so cold! Just wanna stay under the covers!
