Today was a rest day, so I thought, "Hey, I'll do some shopping and update the footwear."  As if feet were  not already unattractive (some may argue here-fetish people) the non-athletic shoes were just too ugly to take home: bows of various sizes, jewels, shells, fringe, buckles, ballerina slippers jacked up on wedges, patent leather mixed with cork or some other hideous variation on the them of tacky.   Ugly, and yet still uncomfortable.  So much fashion.  So little style.  I could go on, but now its your turn.

I love cork wedges too.  I only question the combination of cork and patent leather.  Suede and cork, leather and cork, even pleather and cork, but see my panties patent leather and cork...its just wrong add a bow and I'll throw up in my mouth a little.

I feel for you with the change of color on your running shoes.  Orange has good mojo.

I hate bows and buckles also. So much so that I have actually not bought a new pair of shoes in over a year other than running shoes and the generic plain-colored $2.50 flip-flops from Old Navy. That's saying a lot, because I am a woman who loves her shoes!
