Running, biking, swimming.  But I am only a kid.  So nothing too hard!

I'd be open for an October Challenge - September was not one of my better months.

I would be up for an Oct challenge. Still finding my way around this site, I only found the challenges about half way into Sept. I have been watching for something to come up for Oct.

Count me in

The flexibility challenge is out there, but I too would like something a little more.  How about a training "minutes-per-week" challenge (100,200,300,500?).  Whether you swim, bike or run....do whatever minutes you committed to.  200 to 300 seems to be what I can squeeze in this time of year....

 Whadddyyya say?

Man! I hadn't realized how little I have been actually training......putting it into minutes makes me see how much more time I need to be doing. It is the motivation I think I needed. Guess I might be a lite weight compared to you shawn but put me down for 150 min, gotta start somewhere right?
Thanks!

I'd like to join a challenge too. September was dismal due to illness and I have to get back to it. I'm planning to do a duathlon at the end of the month and I've got to ride more. Not sure about time right now though.....

I would be in for 200 minutes per week...that should keep my base where I want it for now; and be realistic with my schedule.  Let's just post to this thread each week on whether we met our goal or not....that way no one has a lot of record keeping to do.  Unless someone has the time and ambition :-)

So 200 for me!

Good goal!  Hey, everyone is different and has different ambitions.  But I am still definitely a lite weight compared to others on this site ;-) (bigtime!! but thanks for the compliment)  300 minutes per week for me is about an absolute stretch!  My goal above of 200 will be pushing it for this time of year.

I'm in, but only a little.  I'm nursing an ITB problem, so I'm taking it easy for October.

I'll take swimming for 100 60 Alex.

Ok, I know I am gonna regret this, but I am in for 400 minutes a week.  It will be a push to get them, but that is the plan.

I will jump in too.  I will go for 200 (if I include weight training - my primary focus this month is to get started on that)  or 120 if that doesn't count.  I should be able to do that but this is "unstructured month for me.

(guess that means the trainer tonight better go switch out the tires

Wow!  I feel like a wuss, but I'm sticking to my 60 mins for this week.  I plan to swim twice this week and then will pick it up the following week.

Have a good week everyone.

Ok, I'm in. I will put myself down for 630 a week. Should be broken up into 210/210/210 for me. I like to keep all my workouts very evenly distributed.
-Jarrett
Starting this week btw. Last week was low for me, too many weird workdays.

Ok - my total for last week - 114 min - that is 36 min short of my goal. While I had a hectic week at work - I am not gonna make excuses - I will make up for it this week - How did everyone else do?

Looking foward to it.

OK, didn't do so well.  Only got to swim once for 40 minutes.  Goal was 60.  Still combating the ITBS, so I'm going to try at least one week of no activity involving the legs.

New goal for next week:  60 minutes of upper body stuff

Have a good week everyone!

I exceeded week 2 goal nicely - felt great to accomplish this! Only 2 weeks left until my first sprint - anyone else have a race in the near future?

Since I have yet to come up with a goal and was out of town all last week, I am taking myself out of this challenge. I just can't seem to get things together this month Frown.

I started the week pretty well, but feel off after that.  I just have not had the motivation to run and bike.  I am hoping to do something tonight other that swim.
