The course is in downtown St Petersburg and goes mostly along the water front. The full moon was setting on one side and the sun rising on the other. PERFECT weather, too. It is a really "friendly" race for both spectators and participants. I will keep it on my list of races to do. I was S L O W. Way slower that I figured. I hadn't trained that much and I am bigger than I have ever been while running so that was a factor. Only one way to go from here! (I gotta do better than that at Carlsbad). I was good being out there with all the whippets and gazelles this time. Hopefully I am putting that behind me. I was feeling better until I saw photos, though. (I am keeping one on my private file for inspiration to get rid of this weight). However, I was smiling in all of them. |

Probably also because someone has to do the conversion back to USD. I guess I could have made life a lot simpler and just gone and gotten a USD cheque drafted at the bank...in theory...my bad. Haha. |

Then they have to send it to somewhere (probably homeland security) THEN it goes to your bank. Hopefully I can do this tomorrow when I am in town. Otherwise it will be Monday because the banks are all closed for the holiday that you are not having! |

The Nat'l Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Utah for this afternoon into tomorrrow mid-day. Ugh. I better get a move on and go get groceries before I need to meet a friend for a run. |
