Subject: Tri Bike vs Road Bike, which is better?

I've started looking at a new bike.  I'm kind of liking the Fuji, but a person in another bike store recommended using a Road Bike.   Says is has more functionality for other bike events than traditional TT or Tri bikes. 

Curious what most people would comment on...
