Extreme Veteran  445   pinoy city |  Subject: biking , shooting,running swimming?before i started doing triathlons. my hobby was going to the gun range and shoot. today I went to the range and started shooting again. If any of you there are gun enthusiasts. I shot an m1a national match, my pss sniper rifle and a 22 semi auto rifle. I'm not a hard core gun ent. but I felt that this made me feel relaxed form doing tri's. Which comes to my proposition. anybody out there in the northern california area interested to do cycling ,shooting running. We will use a 22 rifle or handgun based on your preference. we have to discuss the distances and it has to be near agun range with a 25 or 50 yard target. Any takers? |

I've ridden my mountain bike to the range with my AR-7 and a handgun. Always thought it would be fun to put together a course combining both disciplines. Have you checked into summer biathlon with running/rifle shooting? I'd seen a few listed in my region, but wasn't interested enough to invest in a biathlon rifle. |

Not trying to hijack your thread, but the only bike, shooting, running experience I've had was in '96. My bike was stolen at gunpoint here in Venezuela (where anything is possible), and I had to run to the next police station. Did not record heart rates during the event. Félix |
