Heading back downstate early Monday morning. I'd like to be over the bridge before 8am. I know Zilwaukee is going to be a pain, but I've got to see of there is any other major construction. Sam, do you live up that way, or are you traveling in for the weekend? If you do live up there, do you have a water temp report? |

You know about the little thing hapening at the Macinac Bridge on Monday that starts at 7, right? http://www.mackinacbridge.org/annual-bridge-walk-7/ That will be your worse traffic you'll have to deal with by far. Might want to check the MDOT about Zilwaukee, but coming SB you should be all set on Sunday or Monday, heck they may even swap the lanes like they did over July 4th weekend, NB traveled in the SB lanes on the couple of days before the 4th and SB had to do the ride through Saginaw. Knowing what they cut on the NB span, I'm not sure I'll ever want to drive over it again. I wonder if they have even figured out how to repair it. Either way it was major screw up. |
