Subject: Hey you guys, how about some tire reviews in the product review section?

I've been racing and training on the same tires for a two seasons now.  I just got a set of dedicated race wheels, and now I'm starting to look at more specific race tires.  I went into the product review section and there wasn't a single tire review in there!

Get to it! 

 

Looking specifically for recommendations for Hed3 clinchers.  I've been riding panaracer stradius pros on a set of alex aero wheels.  I've had great durability with them, while having a high TPI, and they can easily handle 150psi.  If you look around on the net, there are some complaints about their durabilty maxing at 1200-1500 miles, but I've had great luck with mine, and I get them on sale for $25 each. 

I also have a set of Rubino Pro Slicks on a roadie, but I don't ride it much, and I've found the rubinos to be too soft for the roads in MI.

I've been a big fan of the Michelin Pro2Race clinchers on both road and tri bike, just received a set of the new Pro3Race from here. Supposed to improve most aspects of the P2R, we'll see this weekend.

I was getting 5000+ miles from the P2Rs with minimal flatting. There's a chart floating around here somewhere that lists them as one of the clinchers having the lowest rolling resistance.

I'm currently riding on Michelin Pro3 Race. I only have about 800 miles on them, and I like 'em just fine...no flats as of yet. However, when I'm ready for a set of new tires...I think I'll be trying the Conti GP4000S.

I can say that I love my new cross-over tires for my mountain bike.  They are a knobby outer edge around a street type smoother center.  Truthfully my bike spends way more time on the road than on the trail so I thought I would try them.  I run them at max pressure for speed reasons and it works great so far.  The only bad problem is in that small pea gravel or in road-sand where they slid,e but I have a hard time with those anyway.
