Subject: Question for CA BT'er
(reposting msg on this forum because I got 15 views but no response on COJ. )

Question for CA BT'ers or people familiar with LA area. Say if I take the flyaway bus from LAX to Van Nuys airport at around 730p LA time on a weekday, what kind of traffic should I expect on 405? Pamphlet said the bus trip could take 30-60 minutes.

I drive this route  every day

at 7:30 pm weekday 

60-90 mins would be more accurate

Yeah, that was pretty much my commute (Van Nuys to Venice Beach) until January and it's at least an hour...with the caveat that there's now a carpool lane completed most of the way and the bus gets a little benefit from that (not much though).

I've taken the Flyaway from Van Nuys to LAX at 7:00pm once and it was about an hour. (On our return a week later, though, it took much longer, due to an accident...plan for the worst case...)

OK. Thanks. Looks like it's pretty self-explanatory to catch the bus at LAX. Just follow the signs...
