Subject: Cervelo S1 (formerly soloist) anything bad?

Folks,

I have reserved a 2009 Cervelo S1 from my LBS. Does anyone have anything bad to say about these bikes? I will do mostly road riding, but plan to complete a HIM this summer with the S1. I currently have 2761 road miles so far this year. I know this is not a ton of miles, but it is enough for me to justify a new set of wheels.

Got nuttin for ya. (Bad to say about Cervelo or the Soloist that is)

I took a few test rides and plan on getting a new roadie next year and this bike is at the top of the list. (Well, it is the only bike on the list)

I just got a P2C and love it

waterdogg,

I was contemplating the p2 as well, the problem is my CFO (translation =  wife) will not approve  expenditures for a new roadie and tri bike. She uses the 2 young children, save for college, new car first etc. etc arguments to her advantage. Since I ride more road miles than tri's I like the S1. Have you done any bricks with the P2? Do you notice a difference in the bike to run transition.
