I haven't biked for about a month and a half, limited biking since may, been running my heart out though, and missed all my goals for the entire season- peak hours, races, and annual hours (there's no way I'll make my annual hours now that I've been set back at least 100 hours of biking). I've been battling a knee injurie since april, and have got all kinds of smaller referal injuries while trying to train through it. Stupid rookie mistake, which has cost me a season. Add in a triple sigh for me. As of yesterday I just started to get back on the bike again, only 20 minutes, twice a week. And all I can do is avg. about 17 mph, which is making me really depressed. Anyways, I just wanted to post this to tell you that I'm with you, and hope that you get better ASAP. I hope that you can stay motivated for next year. Just think, it's offseason now anyways (or just about), so you're supposed to be taking it easy anyways.
