Just wondering if anyone was thinking of doing the University of Windsor Tri for Like indoor tri.  You swim, then bike then run for 15 min.  There is NOT much time for transition. The winner is determined by the laps or distance you made.

Tongue out

Here is the link for more info.  You can add to your race schedule here on BT too.

 http://triforlife.ca/index2.html

Wave times will be assigned beginning at 8:00am and continuing every 20 mins. until 2:40pm. Please show up at least 30 mins prior to your start time to receive your race package, sign your pre-race contract and receive pre-race instructions. The pool diving-well may be open for warm-up depending on pool capacity and lifeguard discretion.

One of the guys at my gym did this last year and I've been helping him with his swim in prep for this year.  I'm thinking I'm in on this one just to get my first race in.

Sounds fun!  Just out of curiosity - what kind of bikes do you use?  The trainer bikes from the gym or spin bikes?

ETA - If there's not much time for transition will they be lax on the biking/running in a swimsuit?  (Just thinking of a thread a while back where someone was told to go put clothes on because you can't run on the treadmill with a suit?)

They will give you time (7min) to change btw transition.  But, I did it last year and they just yelled at me! So this year I am going to swim in my tri-suit, then toss my runners on and a hat.  I am sure they are ok if you just put shorts over top your bathing suit.

The bike are the stationary bikes that they have in the workout area.

Does this race fill up - or can I wait to enter? I'm "Spring-Breaking" this year and I'm not sure how many days of hangover I'll have when I get back... *snicker*
