Earlybird Tri in Ottawa

Didn't do it this year, although we were in Ottawa from Tues-Friday.    We enjoyed it last year, although I don't like the swim portion; can't do flip turns and always got caught on the ropes switching lanes.   How did you find it?   Hope you had a good time. 

The swim portion was interesting--overall it went better than expected.  I appreciated being able to warm up in the diving area of the pool.  I also watched the faster swimmers to see how they handled going under the ropes etc. 

The weather was a bit iffy, but the rain held off until near the end.  I would definitely recommend this event as a primer for the season!
