Comments: Eh, what can I say. Raced with a bunch of swimmers. I tried to keep up with a bunch of guys that were WAAAAY faster than I was and I was spent by 15 minuted in.I got a big cramp in my chest and had to slow down. Looking at my final time, I may have slowed down too much. Oh well, I really did learn stuff today, heart rate, pace, intensity off the start and I got in some great drafting today as well. Super glad I did this race today even though I was at the back of my AG, but again I was swimming against some pretty strong swimmers. What would you do differently?: Better start and maybe push a tiny bit harder. I don;t know if my swim training has been as strong as it could be. Post race
Warm down: Ate some free food, hung out and talked to some people I know then took off for a bike ride. What a GREAT day!! What limited your ability to perform faster: The fact that this race is in water. Last updated: 2009-07-01 12:00 AM
