Subject: Sunday's race is the highlight of my week

Yet another reason why I love living in NJ -- a tri race right in my back yard (NJ State Tri). After having to skip the CGI women's event due to a business trip, I can't wait to enjoy Mercer Park and West Windsor.

Plus, I no anxiety about how to get to the start, sleeping in my own bed the night before, and who knows, maybe my family will be up to cheer me on.

Glad to see the nervous excitement on the forum. Whenever I get nervous, I remind myself, "I do this for fun".

Amen. One of the best races in the region and just a bonus that its local. Kudos to CGI and everyone at Mercer Park that puts this on. With so many triathletes and spectators in such a small area...they do a great job in making this an awesome race. It could quickly become an absolute mess!!

I agree. I switched form Oly as just not ready for 1500 in OW yet so I'm more excited than nervous. I love that it's close as I'm going to bike over to reg on Saturday to loosen up the limbs.

I have been looking forward to this for 6 months. All those cold winter miles. All those long computrainer rides in the basement on a cold day. All for this weekend. Can't wait! Good luck to everyone. Safe Race!
