Anyone using this for that? They label them as performance trainers, but they are not THAT light (like the Race 2.0).Tried them on and liked them running around in the store, but worried about using them for distance.Figured I'd solicit feedback on it.

i used them for all my training and racing (up to HIM) over the last year anda half, now use a pair of the advantages for my training, and just use the tempos for racing as my milage is going up more (part of this was due to not wanting to trash the tempos as fast)

Thanks. Think I will pull the trigger on them.I'm not in love with my current shoes that need replacement... and just figured I'd ask before plunking down $100+ on some shoes I hadn't heard much about.

one word of working, this is not as bad/pretty much gone with the new tempos, but the old ones, and the advantage have this prob.

dont jump right into long runs in these!
i do all of my trainin sockless, but the first few runs in these i had small blisters around the middle of my arch, right where the insole meets the shoe side. same with a bit of rubbing on the heal tab (the new tempo has a diff heal though).

both of these went away after 1-5 runs dpeending on the shoes.

if the heal tab does bother you, twist it around in your hands for a few min to loosen it up, break it in.
