Ditto. I can't stand the swim at Parlee beach. Too often more of a walk along the sandspit than a swim!

I've never done it but that's what a couple people told me as well so I switched.

Yeah, there is definitely some pushing off from the sand bars, but it's not bad once you get past that (probably about the first 50-75m).

I might try to do Sackville as well.  I really don't want to be finished after this weekend... we'll see.
