Subject: how does your top fit?
Maybe a dumb question but this is my first tri and frist time wearing tri gear.

I just got my Pearl Izumi Elite Tri Singlet and the fit is good around my chest and stomach but it seems the top is a little short. When i move around in it, it rises up and ends up sits about an inch about my waistline. Is this right or do i need a different size?

Thanks,
Neil

Depends.  How tall are you? How long is your torso?  Most tri tops I've had ride up a bit...for a majority of them, they just aren't designed for taller people or those with long torsos.  There are some out there you can find, but I don't know particular brands.  Hopefully someone else will be able to help you out in that regard.

Hello

It fits tight and shows all the extra.

I look a tall extra stuffed around middle burrito.  Riding the bike in the aero position makes everything look worse.

We are who we are.  Clydesdales!

Not certain about men's, but the women's 2XU tops are much longer than the other brands. And also run small.

The DeSoto tops are a bit longer than others and the sizing runs more normal (maybe even a bit big.)

Which is why I wear a one-piece. I don't find it incovenient in any way, and it can't ride up at all.
