Almost drowned from a 400m swim in march (First Tri), Swam 1000m nonstop about 2 months ago, 2000 meters about 3 weeks ago and today hit 3000 meters nonstop!  feels really good because i still think i can't swim worth a crap...  3000m in 56 minutes not to bad for a caveman!

Fantastic.  Its great that swimming achievements like this can come so quickly (relative to running and cycling in my opinion) after a person really starts training.  I'm sure many, if not most, of us remember those harrowing first few swim workouts where we thought we'd never survive.  Then after some time and some effort we get to a milestone like you passed, and it feels great.

Congratulations, and keep it up.
