Subject: Switch an entire week of a training plan?I've got a race on 9/6. My training plan calls for a race the weekend after. Heres how my plan looks now: Week 1 ) Heavy swim week. Week 2 ) Heavy run week. Week 3 ) Heavy bike week. Week 4 ) Light training and race on weekend. Week 5 ) Heavy training week. My race though, is at the end of week 3. Can I (should I ) switch weeks 3 and 4 around? Should I just train through it and leave the schedule as is? This is only a "C" sprint race. I'm training for IMFL... I know a sprint doesn't really make a lot of sense, but its the last race I need to get points in a series. |
