I have noticed and been frustrated by the fact that when posting here, line breaks are ignored.Could someone adjust the software settings so that when a 'carriage return' is pressed it actually shows up in the posts?I clean up my posts by manually putting in brackets with 'p' for paragraph breaks, but it is annoying. What is even worse is that many writers don't know or BOTHER to do this and it makes their posts big piles of spaghetti that is hard to read. Please fix!-eric

Safari 4.0.4Os X 10.6.2I didn't mention this before, but I'm thinking it actually goes back and forth. I remember once thinking "Hey, somebody fixed the no returns problem." but then the next time I'm on I see run-on paragraphs again. Weird.

If you press control and f5 the problem will be fixed. Fellow Mac user here.

It IS a pain to have to do this before every post though. I have been using Safari forever on BT and this is a relatively new problem . I am not sure why it changed.........

Alternatively you can use Firefox and then the whole issue is a NON issue......but personally i still prefer Safari.

Do you use the tinyMCE editor? I don't use it because it isn't supported in operaMini on my phone, so I have the same problem. I have to write my entire post in raw html to get the formatting right. It would just take a single line of code to convert the newline chars to br tags before storing it in the db.
