Subject: Running Pace Calculatin
Hello

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I just noticed that the pace calculation seems to be off. I doubled checked it against my Garmin and an third party running calculator and the one in the Training Log seems to be off.

Here's what I was trying to calculate:

Ran: 5.58 miles
Time: 59:02 minutes
Calculation in BT = 10.58 mins/mile

All other calculators including my Garmin have it at 10:35 / mile?

What am I missing?

Thank You

10.58 decimal minutes/mile = 10min 35 sec/mile

(0.58minutesx60sec/1min = 35 seconds)

So strictly in the pace calculator in the logging screen it gets reported as decimal minutes for which it gets converted to mm:ss/mile in reports/blog.

I have noticed this because sometimes I use the logging screen to try to figure out a target pace.  Would changing the logging screen to  min:ss/ mile instead of decimal minutes be a possibility?

I just wanted to add this to the "wish list." I so appreciate the great work that you do to keep enhancing the log, but if I could have one change it would be to switch the default pace from decimal to seconds (e.g., 7:30 instead of 7.50).

Thanks!
