I'm just concerned you are selling a helmet that isn't probably suitable for someone to wear.

 

Safety is a big concern to some.

to me, it looks like the plastic is what cracked, not the actual shell that protects your head.  I'm going out on a limb that the OP accidentally squished it, and just cracked the plastic. 

Other than that, he's better off sending it back to LG and see if they can fix it or get some sort of accident discount (like Giro's crash discount thing).

The helmet is perfectly safe. The outside plastic is the only thing damaged. The inner shell that touches the head is in perfect. If the helmet was unsafe it would of been thrown away.
