Subject: back to backI am currently a college student and am interested in trying a Tri. I have a few questions
My schedule is pretty packed (as I am sure everyone's is ) however, I really want to get everything in. Since I am just starting up - basically- should I try to put two training events on one day? Ex. Swimming and Running etc? Also, how much time should I plan to train before my Tri? Side note - I am just starting out and have just started to swim laps and not just play marco polo. I feel as though i can only set aside about 1.5 hrs a day to exercising. I don't like to focus only on running, swimming, and biking, and forget weight lifting.
And good training schedules out there that are reasonable ~ I want to train for the tri and am determined to do it, however time does not always seem to be on my side. Should i wait till I have more time before i start training for the tri? This is kind of a bundle of questions. I am looking for direction.
Thanks!
Katie
