Comments:

Great run, although run after bike was most impressive
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, perfect race morning. May have pushed it a little harder if I would have known the outcome.
Transition 1
  • 01m 26s
Comments:

The only thing I can say is my comfort level in transition was much better than last year. I set up a really basic transition...towel down, helmet, glasses, soft chewy granola ready to go the moment I got on the bike.
What would you do differently?:

nothing

Comments:

Wow. Amazing pace and didnt feel I pushed it very hard. Goal was to feel comfortable today and have a good training event. It definately has boosted my confidence for IM 70.3 in 4 weeks!
What would you do differently?:

May have left the cap in T2 as I think it may have heated me up a bit more than necessary, but beyond that...nothing.
Post race
Warm down:

Drank Java

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Dirty bike from 3 hour ride in rain yesterday. :)

Event comments:

Great race, great day, now its time to throw down a few cold ones!

Amazing ride. Hit the Cytomax and chewy granola out of T1...kept with chasing water with Cytomax, good consumption pattern. High cadence first 4 miles, then let it rip. Big climb on mile 9, came up on bars, got a rythem, stayed in saddle, and passed 8 riders on my way to the top easily.
