I'm New, First Post...

Hi all...

Well, like all of you, have been bitten by the Triathlon bug.  I did Tri-Rock San Diego last week as my first race and had such a blast.  My time was 1:22 which I'll take.  I need to cut down my damn transition times but i'm sure that will come with practice.

I will be doing the Tinsel Tri in Hemet ( reverse ) and was just lurking around for pointers and more to sign up for so figured I would jump in & say hello and actually "join up" vice hunting as i'm sure alot of my questions have been answered already...

Was looking for bike reviews actually as I did Tri-Rock on my Cannondale Bad Boy.  She held up really well, but i'm soon to be commuting to work again via bike so wanted to use it for my commute and a road bike for the races.  Trying to narrow down between Fuji, Cannondale & Specialized as that is what i've always rode in the past...

But, that's for another time.  Just wanted to say hello & if you see the guy with a leopard print left arm tattoo sleeve, come say hi...  that's me.

And the best part...  I'm 41 years old & only did this first one as my younger friend said I couldn't.  I wound up quitting smoking after 25 years and really working myself back into shape...  So stoked...
