Subject: 7.5.17 What's up Wednesday!

Good morning BT!

6:45am:  5X5 strong lift with daughters 

8:00am:  40 min trainer ride with 8X1:00 pickups

Heading to the pool for the day, will probably get in at least 30 minutes of easy laps.  

Getting a little nervous for my three trail runs Fri-Sat--Vegas is going to be HOT--which I guess is why the race series is called Three Degrees of Hell!

Speed work today.

Six miles and it was so humid this morning. I was tanked after the run but still did my weight and core training afterwards.

I know you will do great on the trail run in Vegas. Are you taking any salt tablets with you?

0600: easy 2-mile run. I spent yesterday on my feet all day (10am-10pm) volunteering at a fundraiser fireworks tent, so today's run was super easy just to work the kinks out.

It feels like a Monday, what with the holiday in the middle of the week.

5:40 - 1 hour brick, with 2 x 8' at race effort on the bike, and 2 x 800m at race effort, 400 all out on the track. Felt like I was swimming.

I'm excited for your race Kim! Will you be staying in a big fun hotel in Vegas? I did the Luxor last year when I stopped over for my trans zion run, and when I go for my marathon in a few weeks I'm spending a night at the stratosphere.

10 mile run tonight on my 3rd favorite trail which connected to my favorite trail, followed by strength and stretch.
