 399  |  Subject: I'm bored and had to dodge two cars on my run today...OK BT! Share your stories with me. I had a great run today through the local neighborhood and felt a little like I was in the game Frogger. One car missed my by about 3 feet. The other car had me by inches. Both were on their cell phones and turning in front of me. I was watching very carefully and following all the appropriate rules of etiquette. How close have you come when running or cycling to drivers and such? |

Riding, I had a driver distracted by a dog (out in the country) come into my lane at a dogleg. Driver saw me late ( I was watching it all develop). The driver turned around, caught up to me, and apologized (meaning 2 more passes by the dog). |

Master 1639 Robbinsville NJ | Subject: RE: I'm bored and had to dodge two cars on my run today... Once had to do the full two hands on the side/front of the car and push off to avoid getting clipped as he rolled through the sign at about 20 mph. Sadly that is SOP in NJ. |

Champion 10668 Tacoma, Washington | Subject: RE: I'm bored and had to dodge two cars on my run today... Had to do the Starsky-and-Hutch hood slide once in Seattle on a run around Lake Union. Car came out of a driveway and didn't stop til it was across the full sidewalk. I didn't even stop. |
