What would you do differently?: Saved some juice for a sprint at the end maybe. Also would train at a faster pace. Post race
Warm down: Light Stretch, walked around abit What limited your ability to perform faster: Ive been running in aerobic hr zone. The distance was no problem. I just wanted to go faster and felt I could if my body was more acclimated to "race pace." I guess I would train faster. Event comments: MY FIRST RACE!!! WOOOT WOO! Never did a race just a wimpy fun run in college. Felt great finished healthy one guy in my age group sprinted by me in the last 100ft. Didnt bother me cause he was dry heaving in the bushes. Im glad I went at my own pace and didnt try to be a track star. The race was alot of fun and a great cause! I definitely want to try a 10k though. Next time!! In the mean time I have some training to do! Last updated: 2004-09-18 12:00 AM
