Subject: Reminders - friends races

Not sure if this already exists but I keep thinking it would be nice if you had something that gave you reminders when your friends had races coming up.... can you already check this easily?

Wow. Awesome idea! Either something by their avatar to indicate a race, say, the next day, or even an email that would cross-check my list of friends with the races they're signed up for and shoot that off to me.

I actually created a prototype earlier this year that was kind of what you described and we realized that it would be much better to make it one small part of a more comprehensive enhancement rather than just toss out a small feature and then try to cobble things on top of it.

Our big projects are pretty much mapped out for the rest of the year, but the whole "friends list/groups" thing is going to be a huge focus for 2008. We have some very cool ideas, and race notifications and unread race reports for people on your friends list is just a part of it.
