If your name is on the list above, you are part of team 3. WELCOME! (If your name isn't on the above list, what are you doing lurking in our thread anyhow?) My name is Kristen and I am a challenge junky. I HEART challenges and I HEART the folks that run them. Anyway, enough love - I am your fearless team captain, which thanks to Dee's hard work, requires very little effort on my part. Please enter your miles/time on the spreadsheet when it is provided, but if you have problems, let me know & I'll help out. So let's get rolling and have a great month. Please introduce yourself... Name (if you'd rather us call you something than your signin): What's your goal? Are you training for any specific race yet? And, most importantly, are you more inspired by lovey messages or would a good kick in the pants suit you better? (We can do either, or both, at your request!) Glad to have you all on board! Kristen |

Name (if you'd rather us call you something than your signin): Kristen, but I'll answer to Enders (or "O Captain, my Captain," if you like) What's your goal? 75 miles! Are you training for any specific race yet? Yep, I'm doing my first half-mary on March 16 and I'm following (mostly) the Runners World Smart Coach program for my goals. And, most importantly, are you more inspired by lovey messages or would a good kick in the pants suit you better? (We can do either, or both, at your request!) Both! |

I love daily inspires. Ii makes my day when I log on and see them there. I am, however, bad at sending them to everyone. I have two small kiddos that need some attention. |

Veteran 242 Reading, Berkshire (UK) | Subject: RE: February RUN 3 team thread starts here! I'm having a sureal afternoon, so I'll save introducing myself until I can summon a little clarity. But for a name, my first suggestion is "the Gingerbread team" - because we'll run, run as fast as we can and the other teams can't catch us... you get the picture. 8 hours behind a computer can do this to me on a Friday |

Extreme Veteran 597 New Joisy | Subject: RE: February RUN 3 team thread starts here! Hi everyone! Name (if you'd rather us call you something than your signin): Tammy And yes, to head off any questions, I am running in this challenge even though I am notarunnr. I am a swimmer, but trying to make peace with the run! I am making headway, but it is quite a love/hate relationship. I do it best when I run with someone, like the Dead, Dave Matthews, the Moody Blues, and yes sometimes my son's emo music. Looking forward to the challenge. I do like the Gingerbread men...run, run as fast as you can, we won't get eaten in the end. |

No, no - it looks like Runs with Scissors is taken, but I think the Gingerbread Man is still open... Can't Catch Us, We're the Gingerbread Men? Or just Gingerbread Men? Any other ideas? (Sorry Max - Team 2 is fast. At posting. Not running!) |

Regular 85 Eastside Seattle WA | Subject: RE: February RUN 3 team thread starts here! Name (if you'd rather us call you something than your signin): Kimberly or any rendition of my signin. O Hail Runner is always fun. I wanted to be notarunner, but I decided to go with the postive sentiment hoping it helps. What's your goal? my goal is 30 miles. I did 25 last month with Marmadaddy and well, I need to step up a bit. I run only so I can tri. I HEART swimming and I HEART biking. I need to learn to HEAT running. ( I wish I could make my HEART red like you did but I don't know how sorry) Are you training for any specific race yet? I have four this year but 2 are bike races and 2 sprint tris. Depending on the running thing may add a 5K or 10K by the end of the year And, most importantly, are you more inspired by lovey messages or would a good kick in the pants suit you better? (We can do either, or both, at your request!) I am an inspire me junkie. I finished my goal on the last day of January because someone was kind and sent me messages in my logs. Oh and I don't care what the messages say, just DON"T dis my speed or my mileage. I am REALLY doing my best when I am training. Just get on me if I miss more than 2 days in a row. Glad to have you all on board! Glad to be on board! Kristen |

Expert 1112 I'm a Tennessee girl living in SoCal. | Subject: RE: February RUN 3 team thread starts here! Name (if you'd rather us call you something than your signin): Melissa, but calling me Bunny is fine, too. What's your goal? 35 miles Are you training for any specific race yet? I have a 5k coming up on Sunday. I'm signed up for another on April 6th. I'd been considering one on Feb. 16, but that looks like it won't happen now since I'll likely be in Tennessee that weekend instead of Detroit. And, most importantly, are you more inspired by lovey messages or would a good kick in the pants suit you better? (We can do either, or both, at your request!) Both, as needed depending on how things on my training log are looking. On a side note, I'll likely be pretty quiet the next couple of days. My brother-in-law was killed in a car accident yesterday and I'm just not feeling very social. |
