rain week...

If it were just rain, I would personally be out training in it. (Either Running, biking or both) We got so few days of really bad weather where I am, I take every opportunity to get out in it when it does suck.

But, Lightning Storms are a whole different kettle of fish. Throw the bike on the trainer, go to the Y or find an indoor pool with a Master's Swim Program you can jump into.

Not sure where you live but if bad weather is common, I would have a contingency plan all set up for just such an emergency.

Around here our rec centers close indoor pools for lightning as well since electrical charge will travel through the plumbing.

I'd suck it up though and either get on the trainer or find a rec center to join for these times.  

the indoor pool is the Masters club...and they close it due to lightning...all our indoor pools close for lightning...bad weather here is very frequent...the Y just cost too darn much to join...my local gym would probably be the best option and by far the cheapest...

As for riding on wet roads...hmmm...the cars around here are the problem...its amazing...instant morons...just add water and they totally forget how to drive
