Subject: RE: Post-Race VertigoI suffer from Meniere's which is an electrolytic imbalance in your cochlea. Diuretics to remove excess Sodium will, over time, reduce the swelling and restore your balance. I'm having a really bad episode this year.
I'm scheduled for a second opinoin with a specialist soon. This is one of the main questions I want answered b/c all 4 of my "attacks" have happened in summer druing periods of high workload (building a shed, heavy training loads ). I haven't found a source to prove / disporove it, but I'd bet that dehydration could play a role here. |
