Subject: Best ski pass deals???

I am hoping to ski/board a number of places this season, with most days probably at Copper and Vail. I also hope to hit a few places a minimum of one weekend; namely Aspen, A-Basin, Loveland and Breck.

For cost benefit analysis, I expect to get about eight weekends or so in the mountains, with roughly 16 days.

What's the best way to avoid full price tickets everywhere?

You have a few options.  I'll spell out the ones I know of for the I-70 corridor below.  Feel free to ask me more details.  I have a Copper pass (for coaching) and a Colorado Pass and skied 38 days last season.  If I were you I'd do either an A-Bonus Pass or Colorado Pass + Copper 4-Pack.

Epic Pass - Unlimited at A-Basin, Keystone, Breck, Vail, Beaver Creek and Heavenly $579

Colorado Pass - Unlimited at A-Basin, Keystone, Breck, 10 days at Vail or BC with restrictions $449

A-Basin Bonus Pass - Unlimited A-Basin with 5 Days at Key or Breck 1 of which can be at Vail. $379

Copper Pass - Unlimited Copper $359

Copper 4-Pack - $129

Gems Card - $10 gets you discounts on some tickets.  http://www.coloradoski.com/Resorts/Gems/GemsCard/

Liftopia.co... - Some discount tickets for some resorts here.

I know it's not on your list, but...

Let me know if you ever want to go up to Eldora.  (Small ski area, Nederland--can get quite windy though) I end up with leftover $19 lift tickets every year.  (Employee discount tickets) I'm up there every Saturday and most holidays during ski season and it would still be a good deal if you've only got a half a day to ski or board.

Thank you both for the suggestions.

I am not positive how many days I am going, but a number of the days I'll be chasing my litle girls down the hill, and we won't want to make the drive to Vail. I am thinking that Loveland or Eldora might be good options for shorter drive times with munchkins.

I'm pretty sure Loveland offers some 4 packs or other good deals.  They are also part of the Gems card.

My family loves Loveland. My little skiers can be very fickle (4 and 6), we have driven up, had three runs and called it a day. Since its only about 45 minutes from Golden, it makes very convenient for, "Hey, who wants to go skiing this afternoon?"

My wife and I each get a 4 pack and the little ones are only $23 for the 6 and free for the 4.

We also each get a 4pack at Copper, we like it because 1/3 of the mountain is pretty segregated and green on the west side making it perfect for our family. We also like you can ski from top to bottom on all green runs which is great for the 4yr old. Both little ones love all th elittle off trail trails they have as well.
