Can anyone share their experience on how Specialized's shoes fit? Are they true to size?

I have the specialized trivent tri shoes.. they are wider than some shoes... i wear a 46 shoe normally with nike, shimano... (narrower shoe).. i have the specialized in a 46, they somewhat bigger. I have a nice size toe box.. which is something i like.

so the question is do you have a wide foot?

For my specialized shoes I wear a size 47 which is equal to a 13.5us. I'd like a pair of winter shoes and I'll go with a 48 so I have extra room for thick socks. In my normal shoes I typically wear a 13. YMMV.

Can't you just go try them on?

I have road shoes, BG Pro Carbon Road Shoe  They fit well, true to size and I did not need a wide size even though my Sidi's were the Mega models.

It took awhile to dial in, I had to replace the footbeds with the Specialized "green" ones and I put a Varus wedge in one shoe to correct some biomechanics.  Now I love them!  No hot spots, no chafing.  I really don't even think about my feet anymore when I ride, which is good!

Good luck!  I didn't own any Specialized equipment a year ago and now that I have some, I will try them when I have to replace other items.  They seem to make good stuff.  I have a saddle, bottle cages, shoes, and a bike and am happy with them.

I have the 2008 S-Works Road w/ the Boa lacing system.  These are pretty great shoes in my opinion.  They seem to run a little small as I needed 47/US14 when my measured foot size is US13.  The Boa system is pretty slick, it's easy to get on and off and can be adjusted without getting off the bike when your feet start to tingle.  I am new to triathlon and have not tried them in a race yet but I think they might be pretty fast in the transition area...maybe someone else here has actual race experience with them.  Hope this helps.
