anyone ever try a neoprene swim cap for warmth?

Once..quite a long time ago though. Only a few races in Ontario (that I know of) that might even be cold enough to warrant one. Which race do you think you might need it for? Another option is to bring a cap with you for the race and put it on under the one they give you for your wave.

I have a neoprene cap that I used at the Milton race one particularly cold year. You should be able to put your swim wave coloured cap over top. I have also seen people use 2 regular caps for warmth although I have not tried this.

thanks for your thoughts... I'm thinking through hamilton and guelph lake this spring. and i'm not sure if i'll rent a wetsuit.  is that crazy?
