Looks like they did.

That's Fabian Cancellara's bike, which he rode (I think) at the tour of cali and the Giro. Probably the 2.0 of the Specialized carbon that was released in '08.

Somebody said somehwere that it might not meet UCI regulations and then they won't put in into production as their new tri bike. True?

It is legal. The frame was developed under the new UCI rules.

It may come out next year but just like the current transitions, they will be hard to get your hands on one unless you fork over the money as soon as they announce that it will be part of the 2010 lineup.

Further... The bike will be released in 2010. It is called the SHIV (kind of a lame name). It is more of a TT bike than a tri bike; it will come with two seatposts to get it closer to a tri geometry.

Get ready to put down some coin if you are interested.
