SF Area bike route - urgent!

Master  2621    Almaden Valley, San Jose, California |  Subject: SF Area bike route - urgent!Hubby will be in SF for business tomorrow, and will be done with work by 5. Needs to pick up a friend at SFO at 10. Any ideas for a great 2+ hour bike ride in or around SF? Can he ride over the GG bridge? Anything good to ride just over in the Sausalito area? thanks!  |

Stupid question - do I need to be a member of trails.com to get details? Or am I missing something? If I do need to join, have you joined and is it worth it? I'm jealous that hubby gets to do this.....I'll be doing the local tri-club ride out here in San Jose that we do EVERY Weds! Thanks for the info, again. Linda |

I believe that in order to ride over the bike lane side of the SF bridge (i.e. not have to fight all the pedestrians and tourists) you can't do it until after 3:30pm on a weekday...or at least so says the sign I passed when I rode over it a few weeks ago.... |
