Link breaking (Help me understand, please!)

Champion  7495     Schwamalamadingdong! |  Subject: Link breaking (Help me understand, please!)Hi! Through the "Training" link in my blog, i am trying to enter some "Overall comments for today." i am typing a link like this... <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infiltration_(medical)">Donation FAIL.</a> i think that's how this is supposed to work... Yet when i save and return to the blog, the link is broken with bold tags inserted where the parentheses are supposed to be. That's not quite what i wanted. i've seen this happen occasionally, but i'm just typing text, so i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. Thank you! Edited by TheSchwamm 2009-07-03 3:25 PM |

Champion 11641  Fairport, NY | Subject: RE: Link breaking (Help me understand, please!) The log editor won't turn raw text into html. You have your Rich Text Editor set to 'Off' so in order to create hyperlinks you'll have to use MBBSCode, or turn the Rich Text Editor on. |

Champion 7495 Schwamalamadingdong! | Subject: RE: Link breaking (Help me understand, please!) i did some testing. Linking with greater-than and less-than symbols using the "a href=" method breaks when there are parentheses in the link.
