When Fred Weninger, 66, of Scottsdale, Ariz., struggled with putting on the swim cap, one of his sons walked over to help. With lopsided goggles dangling off his nose, he made goofy faces for the camera while his son wrestled the cap on.

"I don’t know what to expect," said Weninger, a first-time triathlete who signed up for Blue Wave "not to be outdone" by his sons competing in full and half triathlons.

Fred was hysterical while he was being interviewed!!! I'd love to get a copy of that paper! Guess I look it up, and print it offline! What a fun guy he is!
